More than a year (since september 2016) with my Suunto Spartan Ultra and I could put it to the test the latest upgrades which were impressive, in particular the extended battery life (29hs tested at the Bear 100 Miles last september 2017) and the great mountain variables tested at the super techincal Tromso Skyrace last August 2017 (my race story here).
Befaore that, on May 2017 the volcanic toughtness of the epic Transvulcania Ultramarathon also tested the features added at that time to the Spartan and one more time, reliable as always and no scratches despite some falls into the abbrassive rocks of the volcanoes.

As an old user from all the Ambit familiy (1, 2 and 3 Peak), I could test the family from the Himalayas (Everest marathon 2016) to Patagonia (many races in my country Argentina) and to the classic US trails at the Western States 100 which I also plan to run this year along with UTMB as well.
After some years very happy with the Suunto family it would be really great to visit the HQ and enjoy the Suunto spirit and the Finland country with I got on my bucket list. Hope to be one of the lucky ones to joint the Suunto Summit 2018 and hopefully contrubute a little bit with my own experience with many years of Suunto great watches.
